This was one of my favorite books ever! The enigmatic Benedict Arnold inspires the inexperienced continental army to great feats and perhaps protects the hopes of the emerging nation.

It's primarily written as a first person narrative from Peter Merrill and his experiences in the service of the Continental Army as a scout for Arnold.
