AFrom the first book Ella Harrow send her friend Fil out to find a gargoyle at at old monastery. This book Fil Felicity- finds the stature but she has a run in with one of the evil cult members that is there to destroy the stature, Felicity has a gift, a second sight like seeing auras but also when some one has bad or good intentions, well when she sees how evil this guy is she wants to get the hell outta there and get away safely. Until the man is throwing around spells like snowballs. Spar awakens from his sleep and his in the middle of a fight between the evil one and a woman, but he is pissed off the be wakened without his Warden present but instead of a small woman. When Spar sees the evil throw a spell at the women he grabbed her and took her away from the evil. Fil and Spar start out of the wrong feet and until she calls Ella and tells her what happened and Spar can see and hear what his brother Kees has to say on the subject but when the mention of the Wardens and the Guild being destroyed and killed did Spar want to help find the remaining Wardens and see what he can on a little accident that happened to Felicity. What he never expected was that his emotions will over power his ability to save the human race but to keep his mate happy and unharmed.
