I love this book because it shows wonderful before and after photos. Subjects such as choosing a focal point and balance are addressed. Imho, lack of a true focal point is what is wrong with most rooms. It also discusses furniture arrangment as it applies to the rooms in question.

I couldn't be more pleased with this book once I received it through PBS. I am sure to keep it as a reference book.
