While I liked this book, I don't think it was one of the best I have ever read. Although I didn't guess the ending exactly, the further I got into the book, the more obvious that something like that was going to happen. Still, it did not detract from the story, and I still wanted to keep reading to see if I was right. I enjoyed the story being told from various viewpoints, but at some spots I had a hard time discerning if they were talking about the present time, or a moment in the past.
