Property developer, Connor Clive Blaydon, is found dead. DCI Alan Banks investigations and finds out that the murder may be tied to a rape by Blaydon. Zelda, a friend of Banks, is determined to bring the men who abused her to justice. Banks believes that stirring up the murky waters of the past will put Zelda in far greater danger than ever before. This book can act as a standalone but starting at book 1 will give you a better understanding of the characters. Besides, the earlier books are more exciting and interesting and it's probably time for Robinson to move on from this series.
