This book is a great story. This tale has tears, laughter and a lot of deep emotion. The relationship between Annie and John and Annie and her kids are the central focus, but there is plenty of adventure in the story too. It is a "heavier" book than most of Temte's (and hers tend toward emotional weight). It is also not an easy one to put down.

There is a U.S. Marshal in the story named Steve. His book is SSE #1075 "A Lawman for Kelly"
