Was interested in reading this since it's set in the Ozarks and I'm familiar with the area. The backdrop and setting were very well depicted - could almost feel the heat and humidity while reading it. The characters were well written but some could have used more background development. The story itself was cringe inducing at times but probably does happen in real life. Am glad I read it.
