I won this book through a contest...and agreed to review it...overall I really enjoyed the story...it was different from many of the Amish stories I've read...but still truly believable...the characters were not portrayed as deeply as I like...and the timing was off some between events...some parts seemed to be chopped...as though written quickly just to add detail...I think this would be a good read for young adults who are just getting in to Christian reading...I do see lots of potential for this author ...and will continue to follow her writing...as this is the first in a series...I will be watching for the second book.
