I really, really had a hard time following this and ended up just skipping until the very end and that really disappointed me! I guess the idea of time-traveling wasn't that easy for my brain to wrap around. I had read this only once and got rid of it. Not my historical era either (Charlemagne etc). This is not the type of book that I would want to read to pass the hours.
