I have tried reading this Pet Rescue series. This is the fourth book in the series and it is now been 2 months since I started this book and I have made it 100 pages.

The first three in the series, I did not care for but I like the author and kept thinking it would get better. I am now done with the series, I should have stopped at 1.

Johnston is a good writer but this series does not engage the reader. I enjoyed the Kendra Ballantyne Series and did not like the Alpha Force series.
