This trilogy got better with each book. The story of Lance and Marianne was the icing on the cake. I loved them both. Marianne was stubborn, but not to a fault. Lance fought against a happy ending, but he forgot that he was doomed. After all, he as a hero in a 'Romance' novel. Recommend!
