While doing a story on a terrorist group with ties to a U.S. Senator, Journalist Tess Newell is kidnapp3ed and thrown into an underground bunker. She soon finds herself sharing her prison with Flynn, a member of the French Foreign Legion. Flynn ha a lot of secrets and doesn't like all of the questions Tess keeps throwing at him. But when he breaks out of the prison, he takes Tess with him. He wants to head for the closest border, but she wants to pick up the evidence that will bring down the whole terrorist organization.

This romantic suspense story is non-stop action from page one. Tess is determined to get her story out, even if it kills her. Flynn wants to get the story out too; but feels it would be much easier to do it on safer ground. My only problem with the story was Tess continually wanting to leave Flynn behind (for his own safety) and do everything on her own. The whole story takes place over three days. That is kind of rushed for a romance, but it really didn't feel rushed at all. My rating: 4.5 Stars.
