Although Miss Miranda was wary oof Lady Tess\'s motives, she accepted her cousin\'s invitation to spend a fortnight at Applegarth. Also to be in attendance were three confirmed bachelors known locally as \"The Three Unconquerables.\" Unbeknownst to Miranda, she had been chosen to teach these noblemen an unforgettable lesson of love.
The Duke of Eversley, however, was suspicious from the start, and he vowed not to be duped. But Miranda\'s refreshing independance and fiery spirit weren\'t easily resisted, and the dukes two cohorts soon offered for her hand.
