This is the 5th book in the Highlander Series. There is an underlying story through out all of the books and many of your questions are answered in this book. It was interesting to get to the end of some of the stories but this book did not hold my interest as much as the previous books had. I did truly enjoy the twist in the plot, though, and that is why I believe you must read this book. Janet Chapman is a very gifted writer.
