After a one-night stand with cute cowboy Russ Gibson, Jo Cassidy swore off men. Putting a wedding ring on her finger, she invented a husband to keep the men away. But when Russ shows up on her doorstep on Christmas Eve, asking for her help, Jo finds herself wishing she hadn't made up a spouse.

This was a cute story set during the holidays. The hero's dialogue got to be a bit annoying with all the "little darlin", "ain't" and "hankering" cowboy talk. My rating: 3 Stars.
