Picked this up at a booksale when looking for some light summer reading. I recognized the author's name as being frequently listed as a "favorite". Originally out in 2005, it's not new but boy was it an enjoyable read. The characters have so much chemistry, the sparks almost jump off the pages, and this is true with secondary players too. I hated having to put it down and finished it in 2 reads. Basically, "almost" self-actualized male looking for perfect wife hires local matchmaker. It's set in contemporary Chicago and has a sports theme as I guess a lot of her books do. The dialogue is fast, witty, and very entertaining - made me smile, a lot. I liked these people. If you need a break from headier literature this is the answer.
