This is the funniest misadventure I've read in ages. Chloe metamorphoses from timid to adventurous in the shadow of the pyramids, while excavating the tomb of Tekhen & Tekhnet, manicurists to an ancient Queen. Romance blossoms amid lack of baths, comfortable sleeping arrangements, dirty clothes, greasy hair, no makeup. Who said romance is dead; it flourishes despite adverse conditions if one's sense of humor is intact. Chloe survives with laughs & kisses while exposing grave robbers, the true meaning of ancient curses
