Maggie Shayne is a GREAT writer! I absolutely loved this book, but the ending left me wanting more! It started off slow, but quickly picked up. The way the government was involved was insane, and it makes me question if vampires were real would the government really do that? My answer to that question is YES! The government would definitely kidnap, trap and torture them while turning them into their own personal army. Worth the read!
