Picks off 3 months after book 1. Skye and Jagger has a lots of lies and feelings to sort through. Her brother has gone missing and its up to Skye to close the portal with her life and shes having a pesky dream ghost demon that is playing havoc with her mind and later he gets what he wants anyway. Jagger is still dealing with the deaths of his men from war and a painful death of a girl he was involved with and seeing Skye and her situation is another struggle Jagger has to deal with until he learns what closing the portal means the life and love of Skye.
