It was wonderful to see Reinier & Marion's relationship growing and filling out.
Inge falls in love with Bram and he in return loves her but a calling from God seems to stand in their way. Will it be resolved and if so how? The notorious Jaap shows his playboy face again and stirs up jealousy and strife with Bram and Reinier. Edith is included in this novel and her heart is touched so possibly she will find God before the end of the next installment. The surprise is Deiderick and what happens to him. I really like this series but my favorite is still The Discerning Heart.
