Loved this book!!!! It's told from the point of view of several characters and chronicles the breakdown of a family going through the illness of one of the daughters. It dealt with complex moral issues how your decisions affect your future and the future of those you love, sometimes in ways that go against your best intentions . As a parent, I was fascinated by how the mother tried to do what she felt was best, but ultimately foresook her other two children's interests in her pursuit to save the older daughter at all costs. Makes you thankful that your children are healthy and that you don't have to wrestle with the issues this family did! Can't wait to see the movie!
