Jack Carstairs had to leave the Marines after dating Ellie Alazar long ago. Now, as an Omega agent he's been assigned to protect her. She's under attack while digging up artifacts at the Alamo. This book is a friendly way to get some Texas history as Jack and Ellie realize they're still in love. I enjoy this series a lot and characters for the next book are introduced in this one.
