This novel fit more black humor into its pages than I was expecting. Things one shouldn't be laughing about (affairs, murder, Chinese refugees, drug addiction) come out hilarious while following these characters around. To me, this was an excellent mix of a Tom Robbins plot and the T.V. show "The Office."

I will never look at Ronald McDonald the same way again.
