I loved this book - I thought it was an amazing story, well written, great characters - everything I could want in a book. Until near the end, and what I will call the unnecessary chapter that went beyond suspension of disbelief. I won't give details and ruin the story for anyone who has not read the book, but let me say I was extremely disappointed and my rating plummeted from 5 (yes I was planning on giving it 5 stars) to 1. I am not even interested in seeing the movie now for fear that it will be ruined in the same way. I wish I could say that I love this book, and I did until the last hundred pages or so. As good as the majority of the story was, I would not recommend this book.
