From the back cover:
"Kill the person whose name appears to the top of this list." Most chain letters are boring. This one isn't. One dead, and next on the campus hit list is a sweet, virginal coed-Allison Stevens-who just happens to be the daughter of BSLI's top honcho.
So Digger, SBLI's chief troubleshooter, heads for Boston-and uncovers Allison in her dorm room-shacked up with one of her boyfriends. Figures.
Digger's snooping turns up a cast of suspects-the stuffy college shrink, her husband who's the college dean-all too willing to coach the girl students on his own time-and an oil-rich older student who's very, very bored.
Before he can belt down another vodka, Digger's got too many murders to prevent. Possibly Allison's . Possibly his own!
