While most Love Inspired Historical books are pleasant and nice to read, this one is funny! Jack Elder, the Texas Ranger, has a way of saying things that made me laugh out loud throughout the book. I take his 'comments' in stride, and realize he is a kind soul who just has a frank way of speaking his mind.
