I had seen the anime about this manga and it was wonderful. So I had to get the books. The books are slightly different but not so much to make a difference in the story. What a great job of a story and art. One boy is living in a Utopia kind of city and another who is being exploited. Shion one night opens up his window in a storm and in comes Rat. Rat his been hurt but he is also a fugitive. Shion doesn't care. He feeds him, lets him sleep in his room and cares for his wound. Rat leaves in the morning to get out of the city. Because Shion helped him he is no longer considered an elite in this city and he and his mother are moved to the lower part of town, Lost City. What happens next and in future volumes is a story about the have's and have nots in the world. Well done story. I loved it.
