This is the second book in the Whispers on the Moors series. I didn't enjoy it quite as much as the first, although I like the main characters, Patience and William. What I like about Patience is that she is kind, responsible and devoted to her duties, though without recognition and gratitude from those who should be encouraging her. What I like about William is that, unlike in the previous book, he now begins to see the error of his ways and begins to turn to God in the process.
