This is a wonderful book. It is told with very few words suggesting that it is a children's book, but adults will enjoy it also. It is amazing how author and artist Andy Runton can tell a story and convey so much emotion with black and white drawings and no dialogue. When Owly's big round eyes filled with tears I felt sad too. Fortunately, these two stories have happy endings, and positive messages about friendship and letting go. Highly recommended for all ages. Sorry wishlisters, this one is going on my keeper shelf.
