Received book used from amazon and it arrived with an inch long tear in the front cover that continues through the title page; it is about about three inches from the spine. the rest of the book is flawless. make sure you follow all of the characters in a Nessar novel. Either the bad guy is up front or mentioned once in a brief history. Fossum's Sejer is a better detective; eccentric but loveable. VV's lke that mosquito bite that won't go away.
