A really wonderful story. It is about a girl whose friend moves. She makes another friend then another. The new friends don't like each other but like her. She then runs into more problems she writes a play and almost loses a friend, her mom has a surprise, and work around the house gets dumped on her. Age request would be about 9-10 (this does not mean it is inappropreate but kids might not be intrested in it over 11- because of no romance). Short less then 100 pages. If you liked these books you'll probably like- With Friends Like These, Who Needs Enemies. The Principle's ofice (by Jerry Spinelli), Niki, No dogs aloud! (by Bill Wallace, and books by Ann M. Martin.
