I recently discovered this delightful trilogy, which begins with "Miss Jacobson's Journey", followed by this book. If you enjoy well written traditional Regency romance, you'll love it. I recommend reading them in order. The hero here, Lord Rowland, is the one who didn't win the heroine of the first book. It takes place mostly in Brussels, just before, during and after the Battle of Waterloo, which is always a great setting.
Book 3 is "Captain Ingram's Inheritance".
This book was also republished under the name "Lord Roworth's Reward".
