As always, right from the first sentence, author Vickie Taylor grabs you and spins you around. Immediately, she pours us into the life of her heroine, and we're off and running. THE LAWMAN'S LAST STAND is a great read, fast and furious, with plenty of plot twists, lusty romance, and Ms. Taylor's subtle brand of erotic wordplay. Her heroine, Gigi McCowan, is independent, sassy, and wonderfully written. Pulling at our heartstrings as she struggles to survive everything that's happening to her, Gigi meets her match in sexy sheriff Shane Hightower. Together they battle the odds, the bad guys, and each other! And as in her previous books, Ms. Taylor proves herself to be a a natural storyteller, a witty observer, and an exceptional writer. THE LAWMAN'S LAST STAND is a terrific book. Well done.
