The sequel starts right after the events of the first book. Like, literally, the second day.
I thought the sequel was slightly more interesting. I did enjoy the pagan elements, as well as the Green Lady persona/character.
However, like the first book, the writing is on the level of a 4th grader. Meanwhile, the content is for young teens. Also, the main character still avoids everything ... pretty much up until the last minute. She obsesses over unimportant things, which make the story elements feel weak.
Probably, young teens would like this book ... if only for the typical teen angst found in here.
