Growing up in Oklahoma in the 50's Lou and her siblings had all kinds of freedoms. The book is filled with stories both humorous and troubling. The Adults make some decisions that turn the kids lives upside down. She talks about dealing with those things and not dealing with them. I do enjoy her story telling.
