Very good book! Well written, and an edge of the seat page turner, and it starts out being a page turner from the very beginning. I am honestly shocked at how well written the book is. I am tempted to read it again already, and I literally just finished reading it last night. I loved the character outlines and the landscapes. Even the parts that involve politics of the world are very well done. The book has a ton of depth. There is a lot going on in the book, but it all isn't so overdone that it is hard to keep up. I am very excited to read the next one. Great book! I would suggest it to another reader of fantasy lit.

Dragons are a part of the book, but it isn't covered until the end. Dwarves, chimeras, manticores, elves and different races of humans. All around fun read!
