This is my first book to read of the McKettrick series and I loved it! This is a combo book -- two stories in one book. The first is about Sierra and it rotates from present day to 1919 where Hannah steps in. I loved how it switches back and forth and entwines the present and past together. Very interesting. The next story or book within the book is about Meg McKettrick. She also has a connection to the past with her multi great grandfather Angus McKettrick. It was fun how Ms. Miller brought him into the storyline. I really enjoyed both stories and can't wait to read more about the McKettricks. Definitely recommend this book to others. I will say overall, predictable endings but very much feel good stories and sometimes that's just what I am looking for. Getting there was a lot of fun.
