Ms. Raybourn wrote a series of novels and novellas in the 1920s. They are not really a series. The books are Far in the Wilds, A Spear of Summer Grass, Whisper of Jasmine, City of Jasmine, and Night of a Thousand Stars. This explains why Night of a Thousand Stars is listed as number 5. You can read them all out of sequence if you like. I just enjoy Ms. Raybourn's writing so much that I read anything she publishes. This is a quick enjoyable read in a time period not often covered in romance novels.
