I've read Cramer's other books and I have enjoyed them. Summer of Light is packed with humor.The characters are very true to life. Mick Brannigan looses his job and ends up
becoming Mr. Mom much to his objection. He has a son with learning disabilities and has to keep a constance eye on him. Mick gets involved helping a neighbor with construction work.He learns a new hobbie and befriends a homeless man all the while taking care of his kids.A very entertaining book.
