This is a story of a woman in the old west during the Indian uprisings; of how she survived being captured by the Indians as well as surviving her return to so called civilization. It feels as though you are there in the old west, I really enjoy how Janet Dailey researches her story line. It brings a touch of reality to her caricatures.
