This is one of the most exciting historical fiction books that I've read this year. The opening pages are filled with emotion and action, which run high through the entire novel. This story never slows down, which is great. I love the characters, the different settings, and the storyline. The romance is intense and faith issues are a driving force for much of the action. Whispers from the Shadows is all-around an entertaining and inspiring read.
