Many revelations in this one. I really, really disliked Phury and his almost constant pity-party. I did like how Phury resolved things with the Chosen (and that way out-dated patriarchal system). Not surprised about Lash. That makes things interesting. The war is now in full swing. Even though I disliked Phury through most of the book, all the other story lines got me interested in the rest of the BDB again.
