Very much enjoyed this last in the series. So many references to the previous books, this is a trip down memory lane to be sure. Due to all the references to Covid and social distancing, it's set very firmly at a specific point in time. I didn't even try to figure out whodunit, although there was one character that I was sure had to be a villain. The process of the team trying to track down all the movements in this cold case was very satisfying. But of course the main thing in all these books is not so much the mystery as it is the characters and the landscape. Griffiths wraps it up the way I expected so I could be happy for all of them. Oh and the re-appearance of someone from one of the earlier books was really nice. I have issues with remembering past books but I did remember this one. I'm sorry to see the series end but Griffiths is still writing other excellent books.
