Marian Babson is one of my favorite mystery-suspense authors. Having said that, I found this book difficult to get into, and found the first chapter to be rather off-putting. There were parts I found unrealistic. However, after having passed the first couple of chapters, I got into the book. There were unexpected twists and turns, and the ending was rather unexpected. I still do not feel that this is up to her usual standards.
