The premise of the plot was interesting and the book was a page turner until halfway through the book where the plot seemed to be completely spent out and nothing else really interesting happens. His discovery of her pregnancy, their marriage, etc, was anticlimatic and very rushed! and unduly rushed, since the book had so many pages to go! I dutifully plodded through the reminder of the book to read the obligatory happy ending, but still! I wished that the author had elaborated more or fully explored the plot on his discovery of her pregnancy and his persuasion of her to marry. It was all over in a few pages and readers are left confused on why she hurriedly agreed to marry when she had so much reservations!
