I usually read Templeton's book in one sitting and this one was no exception. I am a fan of The Bargain by Templeton, and had high hopes for this one too. It was okay. It kept me reading, but it could have been better. I liked the plot line of the secondary characters, Demetri and Remont a bit more than the main characters, Gabrielle & Darius.
I am a fan of both historical romance and paranormal romance. I felt like the book could have just as easily been a regular historical romance - it felt to me that the paranormal aspect of it was just kind of thrown in with no real depth to it.
