This is the same book as The House of Peine, retitled for the US market as House of Daughters. Delightful book. Full of unexpected twists and turns, but not as captivating as Lynch's Blessed Are the Cheesemakers (also titled simply Blessed Are in the UK) and By Bread Alone. Those two are not to be missed. This is very very good, though.
