I was so excited to find this book. Janet Oke is one of my favorite writers and to find a book by her on teaching was a goldmine! This book has guidelines out of concern and love for Sunday School teachers and their students. She states it has always been one of her loves in her Christian service and has been involved in teaching, training, and administration.
As she states she wanted the book is concise, and uncomplicated so that teachers with to help teachers who have had little or no opportunity to develop their teaching skills.
"Helping teachers shape young lives with love and the Word of God is what this book is all about".
I found this book very thoughtful and helpful and enjoyed a seeing part of the personal heart and life of such a great writer.
