My daughter and I both enjoyed the book, which I think is perfect for ages 11 and up. You can read all about it at Karen's website : http://www.kcdyer.com There's also and excellent study guide available on her website if you're interested in using the book for that sort of thing.
The writing is excellent, the characters engaging, the plot riviting, and the historical detail, rich. I especially liked how the author was able to demonstrate the contrasts between medieval life and modern life through the eyes of her characters. This is not your typical teen-angst fluff.

I hope you'll enjoy it as much as my daughter and I have, if you can find a copy. This one's worth seeking out elsewhere if you can't find it here. Consider supporting a relatively new and excellent children's author and purchasing new... Sorry, we can't part with ours ; )
