This was a really interesting and unique book. Obviously geared for young adults, the writing is a little simplistic, but the plot and the ideas behind it are very adult and complex. I'm well beyond the genre of "young adult" but I still found this book hard to put down. It unfolded nicely, kept my interest, pieced itself together, and had a satisfying conclusion. Very well written, cohesive, and worth reading if you even remotely like Emily the Strange.
